I feel like somebody on my flist is into She-Hulk. We've been sorting out our comics collection (90% Mucca's) during our move, and I've just re-read Marvel Her-oes (the high school AU where Jen Walters and Janet Van Dyne are best friends). Then Mucca dug up She-Hulk's origin story from one of the collections of oldschool stories she has. And I just really, really like her and would love to read more. But where to start?
Also, I'm totally loving the new Supergirl show, and now want to read her comics. (Also just hit the part of Batgirl: The Flood where Kara comes to visit and together they fightcrime Dracula holograms.) Mucca tells me that Supergirl's timeline is even more fucked than usual for comic books, though, and that they keep hitting her with random AUs. And then there's Power Girl (who I also adore), who is sometimes also Kara Zor-El (Zor-L?)? ??? So, anyone know anything about Supergirl comics? I like her kicking ass and being cheerful and being from space, though I'm not averse to some angst too.
*wanders back to the stack of comics stolen from the newly organized cupboard (it's so nice!), while eyeing her accounting homework about long-term notes payable*

Anyway, the show is great fun. Never thought I'd care so much about these dorks, but I do. <3
ETA: Also, Zor-El in this one is played by one of the guys from Queer As Folk. The hot professor with AIDS who Michael married in Canada, I think? Anyway. I was amused. He's pretty hot (as are Alura & Astra...lots of pretty going on).
