belated Fandom Stocking post
Jan. 21st, 2016 05:12 pmFandom stocking was fun this year!
At my stocking I got Delenn icons, Supergirl icons, Goblin Emperor icons (of Maia <3), Doctor Who icons and Michelle Gomez icons.
Plus lots of greetings, some links to original SFF femslash, a promise of femShep/Jack fic, an Eighth Doctor picspam, and recs for the TV show Green Wing (which is apparently the UK answer to Scrubs, and features Michelle Gomez as an entertainingly awful hospital staff liaison, Tamsin Greig as the new doctor on the block, and a bunch of very pretty people being, again, entertaining dicks).
And also some awesome ficlets:
Of Kindness and Mazei (Goblin Emperor: Cala, Dazhis gen) by
sevenall
Doctor Who (Three/Brig + Jo offscreen) by
senmut
Sufficiently Advanced Orbs (Steerswoman: Willam & surprise crossover) by
schneefink
Also I wrote things!
Title: Translator Zeiat, In The Winter, With A Snowman for
esteliel
Fandom/Characters: Imperial Radch | Translator Zeiat, Breq, Kalr Five
Rating/Word Count: G, 871 words
Summary: Fluff and crack, cultural differences, the Presger are the warning. Translator Zeiat tries to build a snowman.
Title: Ghosts for
sevenall
Fandom/Pairing: The Goblin Emperor | Cala Athmaza/Deret Beshelar, past Cala/Dazhis
Rating/Word Count: G, pre-slash, 1220 words
Summary: A sleepless night after Dazhis's revethvoran. What is Beshelar to do for the spiritual care of a maza?
Also for
akamine_chan's commentfest remix challenge, I got a lovely remix of my Babylon 5 Jeff/Michael "Valen returns" story that I wrote for Fandom Stocking a couple of years ago:
Title: Jeff Sinclair in the 24½th Century (The Five Faces of Valen Remix) by
muccamukk
Remix of: Me and Thee
Fandom/Pairing/Characters: Babylon 5 | Jeff Sinclair/Michael Garibaldi, Delenn, Susan Ivanova, Lt. Matheson (Crusade)
Rating/Word Count: G, exactly 1000 words
Summary: Jeffrey Sinclair finds his way in a future that's not as familiar as it should be, but full of old friends just the same. [Also, a terrible pun or two.]
And now I want cookies. I should make cookies.
