So I uh haven't posted here in...mumblety mumble...way too long. But fandom_stocking is live. Hurray! I thought I'd post a link to my stocking here, partly so I can find it again and partly of course so anyone else who wants to put stuff in it can.

It's something of a tl;dr list this year because I went through all my old requests and updated them. But that just means more options for people who feel like stuffing it, I guess?

IRL we have a GIANT FUCKING TREE that Mucca found and cut down, and a bunch of small presents tucked under it for when her parents come out to visit next week. It looks like being a cozy lighthouse Christmas (interrupted by episodes of art class, for me). I'm looking forward to it.

I love the colours on this, the fantastic portraiture, but the thing that kills me is the little fist Delenn's making. This is Delenn in the middle of the Shadow War, or getting ready to break the Council, or hearing that John's lost...any of a number of such crises. Smack in the middle of the series in the middle of everything. And just...so determined and so vulnerable and so brave and proud and stubborn. It's when you realize the power in her comes from inside, from her sheer tenacity, rather than from any title.

And then someone on Twitter linked me to Mira Furlan's blog post remembering Michael O'Hare and the other B5 cast members we've lost, and I'm not even going to claim that the kleenex here is because of the headcold I have.

Inesval was a Worker-caste Minbari whom Ambassador Jeffrey Sinclair met in Tuzanor the first year he was on Minbar. Inesval, among other things, "fixed" Sinclair's bed so he could lie down flat instead of at a 45 degree angle. Later he became fast friends with Marcus Cole and joined the Anla-shok when the ranks of the Rangers were opened to Worker caste.

hearts_blood says, "He's just so damned likable that I had to purloin him and give him things to do in fanfic," and hints that she would like to see him played by Viggo Mortenson. I've been wanting to draw More Things lately.

In which I use virtual reality to make fanart. (If the Internet is for porn, Second Life is for cosplay.)

I love love love how this turned out. It's taken me about five years to get this look. This is for CJ Cherryh's Foreigner series--a character I played in a roleplay once, but feel free to imagine she's a lord of the aishi'ditat, or perhaps Jago on a fancy dress day, if you like. :D
