Makes me want to cling to Jeff and go "Come baaaack!" which admittedly is my default setting for him. Also makes me want all the grownup!Alisa fic.

Summary: Wash and Zoe get married. Eventually. Wash would like to get married, but every time he tries people start shooting and it's all Mal's fault. Basically? This is my headcanon for how Wash and Zoe got hitched. Adorable.

Summary: Delenn, waiting for news about John at Z'ha'dum, gets one last letter from the past. An older fic, dated 1996, and I'm sure I'd seen it before but just stumbled over it last night. Bits of the story of Valen after Delenn last saw him, and meditations on whether knowing how the mystery happened destroys or strengthens one's faith. Damn but I love the friendship between these two. ♥

And it is lovely. Short and sweet and sexy. I adore characters falling for Delenn (it's what I did, after all) and of course I ship Susan/Delenn at every possible opportunity. This one has hints of John/Delenn as well.

I don't tend to write John/Delenn or to seek it out, because canon did such a good job of convincing me of the pairing that I don't feel like there's many gaps to fill. But there are some talented authors writing in the "let's make them shag in gorgeous ways" genre, and this is a fantastic example. Fifty (eventually--there's 'only' twenty at the moment) short and luscious chapters of John and Delenn doin' it in all kinds of places, ways, and moods. Read them one at a time or all together. Your libido and heart will thank you.

lunabee34's someone I know a little from ds9_rewatch, but I've never read her fic before. This has been an oversight!

A few of you may remember me playing kasidy_yates about seven or eight years ago. This fic fits extremely well with how I see Kasidy: a skeptic about Bajoran religion and a little uncomfortable with the whole Emissary thing, but warmly attached to her friends in the Bajoran sector. Also very capable--a spaceship captain, a smuggler for the Maquis--and thoughtful and a woman of principle. This fic also features some great little notes about Kira and Ezri and Jake, and the ending makes me smile. Go read it if you're at all interested in DS9 season 8!

In which things turned out differently for Lennier, and Vir deals with TMI.

The first thing I wanted fixit fic for in B5 was Talia and the Corps. The second was Lennier and Delenn. I didn't like that the writers made him end up the way he did, and am always looking for fic that tries to make it better somehow. This one's part of an AU where he never left, and also tosses around some ideas about Minbari gender. I am intrigued.

Also, Vir Cotto flailing in the face of Too Much Information (either giving it out, or hearing it) is always kind of adorable. *hugs him* And I just love his friendship with Lennier here: the way they look out for each other and tell each other secrets, even though they come from such different places.

Summary: Susan absolutely never intended to end up curled up on her couch with the Minbari ambassador.

Just an absolutely gorgeous fic. There is cuddling, and quite a lot of perving on Delenn (yay!) but in a really sweet way, and Susan being unsure and Delenn being a goddess, and oh my heart.

For all I make noises about Lennier, this is my favourite post-Sheridan (or alt!timeline, as this one seems to be) Delenn pairing. *happy sigh*

I've signed up for wrisomifu*, so I've been writing a bit (nothing fit for publication yet), and I've been listening to muccamukk's plotting for her latest fic, but I've also been hunting up fanfic. Which I haven't done in a while. AO3 may have its problems, but I love being able to click on a pairing or character name on a fic, and pull up other things with the same people in it. It's fantastic.

Doctor Who in particular has spawned some delicious stories, people worrying at plotholes that have bugged me or just writing thoughtful stuff about my favourite characters. Just fantastic stuff. When I don't read fic for a while, I forget how many good stories people are telling out there. I guess that means I get to go on story binges when I do remember!
