I got a thing! :D

Anonymous Creator has remixed one of my favourite of my own fics, Where The Stars Are Strange (the one about Catherine Sakai getting thrown back through time to the first Shadow War). And it is AMAZING.

See, the thing about Where The Stars Are Strange is that I had this lovely plotbunny in my head that would properly have taken a novel to explore, but I ended up with ~2.5k of spartan prose instead because I didn't have time to write the thing rightly before the deadline, and also felt that if I didn't get something, anything, down, I'd get so tangled up in the details that I'd never post it at all. So I ended up glossing over a lot of important things to get the general gist of the story down.

And here comes my remix author, taking one of my biggest plot holes (the language drift between Valen's time and Catherine's) and turning it into a beautiful story about culture shock and transition and love and loss. Plus fantastic use of telepathy and a really satisfying take on one of the necessary OCs for the story. It's one of those times where I read something and wish I'd written it myself, but I'm happy someone else did so I can just sit back and read it. :D Anonymous Creator, whoever you are, thank you so much.
