I kind of want to learn how to vid! But I haven't the faintest clue where to start. I have VLC Media Player and feel triumphant about having recently learned how to take snapshots using same, which gives you an idea of my level of knowledge here. Are there tutorials? Programs that are useful? I don't even know what questions to ask. :/

But I want, among other things, to be able to trim this movie down from an hour and fifty minutes to just the scenes with Mira Furlan in them. (Because 1986 Mira Furlan in a nudist colony is fantastic, but there's an awful lot of really boring things in between.) And then maybe someday if I am feeling especially creative, I might try actual fanvidding?

But, again, where to start?

The first thing I wanted fixit fic for in B5 was Talia and the Corps. The second was Lennier and Delenn. I didn't like that the writers made him end up the way he did, and am always looking for fic that tries to make it better somehow. This one's part of an AU where he never left, and also tosses around some ideas about Minbari gender. I am intrigued.

Also, Vir Cotto flailing in the face of Too Much Information (either giving it out, or hearing it) is always kind of adorable. *hugs him* And I just love his friendship with Lennier here: the way they look out for each other and tell each other secrets, even though they come from such different places.
