I had such a good time writing this one. It also made me want to reread the whole series (I nibbled on The Lost Steersman white writing) which is also all to the good.

Awww, that art is adorable! :D It's been too long since I read these books -- I don't actually remember anything except the basic elements of the characters/premise and a few bits and pieces here and there. I definitely need to go back and read them again.

The fic is totally compatible with vague memories from a readthrough a while ago! It just refers to the demon lands and what happened there, for the H part of the h/c. ;)

It's pretty much rachelmanija's fault that I ever read them, though nonnies talked them up as well. I'm so thankful I got a chance to experience Rowan and Bel and the steerswomen and the worldbuilding. ❤
